The Rainbow (Work in Progress)
Please take my hand and step into this world with me. I wish to tell you a story. One of Compassion, Bravery, and Sacrifice.
It begins on a spaceship where a royal birthday party is being held. And as the party is held so is a human prisoner below the decks. Framed for a murder he did not commit, Alec readies himself for his execution. He is resigned to face the charges. Someone needs to be blamed, after all, and it seems like a fitting end to the life he has been forced to live…. But Alec’s death is not to come. No. For he is shown an act of great compassion.
Sympathetic for the man and his imminent demise, the alien guarding Alec releases him from his cell and takes him to view the holy burial ground he is soon to join, one part of a collection of magical nebulae known as the Rainbow. It is a moment of dignity, a thing that was never bountiful in Alec’s life, and the kindness moves the man deeply; spurring him to act with bravery greater than he could ever have dreamed of finding within himself.
Somehow, rather than facing his end at the hands of the government, Alec finds himself fleeing across the stars in a desperate attempt to save a young alien princess from the vicious grasp of the foulest and most terrifying villain the universe has ever been cursed to know.

A Man Worth a Million
Talia had nothing. Ever since she could remember people had taken advantage of her. And she was sick of her son missing out because of it. It wasn’t fair that Gavin suffered because of her own shortcomings…. How she was treated at work shouldn’t have affected her son’s life, but it did. And it just wasn’t good enough! She wasn’t going to let this happen to him. She was determined to dig them out of the hole they were in so she could give him the life he deserved, no matter what.
Luckily, through a chance encounter and the theft of her handbag, she meets Dale; a wealthy businessman with a sense of humour and an inclination for the illegal. With Dale’s help, and a little bit of blackmail, she is able to secure a job at Moore for More Investments and move her life into a more hopeful direction.
And when things start looking up, they keep looking up- And though she tries to resist it she finds her heart tugging her to Dale in a way that both terrifies and thrills her.

Heartbound
Sylas Hills is a lonely fisherman without much hope in his life. Until, one day, when he is approached by an over-excitable selkie named Morel. Morel seduces Sylas with her friendly attitude and goofy personality, and Sylas can’t help but let himself be changed in ways he always promised himself he would never be.
Lifting himself from his depression and learning about Morel’s family gives Sylas reason to become more attentive to his own, and he rekindles the lost bond with his estranged sister, Amelia. But there are adversities to be faced: Morel’s colony is untrusting of Sylas, with their half-giant matriarch keeping watch with a threatening presence. And, while keeping watch over his own shoulder, Sylas can’t shake the feeling that Amelia’s husband is forcing her to do the same.
But Sylas is determined not to fall back into his miserable old life. He will do whatever it takes to prove himself to Morel’s family. And perhaps, when he does, they will help him save his sister.
